Finance Assistant for Mid-Atlantic and Frontline & Red to Blue Programs

Reports to: 

Mid-Atlantic Finance Director & Candidate Fundraising Advisor

About the DCCC:

The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) is the official national Democratic campaign committee charged with electing Democrats to the U. S. House of Representatives. The DCCC recruits Democratic candidates and supports Democratic campaigns – both challengers and Democratic incumbent Members – with a variety of services including field operations, fundraising support, communications assistance, research support and management consulting. In addition, the DCCC’s Independent Expenditure supports these campaigns with television, radio and other voter contact efforts. The DCCC is supported by the contributions of individuals and organizations, along with Democratic Members, from throughout the country. We look for talented and hard-working campaign professionals who are committed to electing more Democrats and taking back the House majority.

Specific Responsibilities Include:

  • Assist the Frontline & Red to Blue Finance Team in the day-to-day fundraising operations on behalf of Frontline Incumbent Members of Congress as well as Red to Blue challenger and open-seat candidates.
  • Assist the Mid-Atlantic Finance Team with day-to-day fundraising operations.
  • Maintain multiple databases of contributions made to the DCCC, and Frontline & Red to Blue Program members in order to ensure accuracy and effective communication to the DCCC’s accounting department, FEC, and campaigns.
  • Provide key administrative and organizational support to the Mid-Atlantic and Frontline & Red to Blue teams including donor research, call sheet creation, conduiting checks, drafting invitations, memos, etc.
  • Provide weekly reporting on fundraising goals.
  • Prepare donor meeting and event materials for Members of Congress and Senior Staff.
  • Assist in the development and execution of fundraising events.
  • Other duties as needed.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Superior time management, attention to detail, and multi-tasking abilities.
  • Desire to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Commitment to the election of Democrats in the U.S. House of Representatives.
  • Previous administrative experience is preferred.
  • NGP experience is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • Flexible hours frequently required for this position.
  • Positive attitude required.
