About the DCCC: The DCCC is the official national Democratic campaign committee charged with electing Democrats to the U. S. House of Representatives. The DCCC recruits Democratic candidates and supports Democratic campaigns – both challengers and Democratic incumbent Members – with a variety of services including field operations, fundraising support, communications assistance, research support and management consulting. In addition, the DCCC’s Independent Expenditure supports these campaigns with television, radio and other voter contact efforts. The DCCC is supported by the contributions of individuals and organizations, along with Democratic Members, from throughout the country. Position Summary:
The DCCC is hiring a Front-end developer for the 2018 cycle. The front-end developer will work with the digital, communications, and creative teams to produce microsites and static sites that are meant for public consumption. The ideal candidate is a great problem solver and a quick learner with an eye for design and experience coding sites.


  • Collaborate with internal teams and departments
  • Design and build new pages and sites to meet committee needs
  • Build templates for digital team emails and action forms
  • Offer advanced support to DCCC and campaign digital efforts

Required Skills/Experience

  • Proficiency in modern Web standards (HTML5, CSS3)
  • Proficiency in JavaScript
  • Experience using version control systems like Git
  • Knowledge of issues with cross-browser compatibility
  • Familiarity with code testing strategies
  • Awareness of responsive JavaScript frameworks

Bonus Skills/Experience

  • Familiarity with WordPress
  • Familiarity with email production
  • Familiarity with data visualization concepts and tools
