About the DCCC: The DCCC is the official national Democratic campaign committee charged with electing Democrats to the U. S. House of Representatives. The DCCC recruits Democratic candidates and supports Democratic campaigns – both challengers and Democratic incumbent Members – with a variety of services including field operations, fundraising support, communications assistance, research support and management consulting. In addition, the DCCC’s Independent Expenditure supports these campaigns with television, radio and other voter contact efforts. The DCCC is supported by the contributions of individuals and organizations, along with Democratic Members, from throughout the country. Position Summary:

We are seeking a creative, talented, and self-motivated individual interested in helping the DCCC maximize its capacity for fundraising by providing marketing and financial compliance support.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Manages department compliance with FEC rules and regulations;
  • Responsible for all FEC compliance related deliverables for the department;
  • Works with the DCCC’s caging and cashiering firm to ensure accurate data entry;
  • Tracks and reports on expenses and revenue to the Director;
  • Responsible for daily reporting of various revenue related numbers out to various departments within the organization;
  • Serves as the liaison between the Marketing and Accounting departments;
  • Manages all vendor invoices and accounts payable/receivables for the department;
  • Manage vendor contracts;
  • Provide backup support for the Direct Marketing team as needed;
  • Other duties as needed;

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience in Accounting and/or Business Administration
  • Prior experience working with donor databases
  • Superior time management, planning, organizational, troubleshooting, and communications skills
  • Must be detail-oriented, able to prioritize and manage multiple projects, and work both independently and with other departments in achieving deliverables
  • Able to work well under pressure while meeting multiple deadlines
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with FEC compliance;
  • Experience with accounting;
  • Proficiency in NGP;
  • Experience in political fundraising;
